Spript.app / Spript.com only collects information needed to provide the service and to keep it secure.

Information we collect

We collect basic account details like name and email, phone numbers (for SMS communications where opted-in), and service data such as message settings and delivery status.

SMS Communications

We may send SMS messages to phone numbers you provide via explicit opt-in (e.g., website forms or sign-up flows).

Message Purpose: SMS messages are limited to service alerts, reminders, and time-sensitive notifications. We do not send promotional or marketing SMS unless explicitly opted into by the recipient.

Frequency: Messages are sent only when relevant and are intentionally low-frequency to avoid noise.

• Consent: You must actively opt-in (e.g., checkbox + confirmatory SMS reply like "YES"). We never send unsolicited marketing. Complies with Unsolicited Electronic Messages Act 2007.
• Content: Messages identify "Spript / Sender" clearly, include free "STOP" to opt-out (processed immediately), and link to this policy.
• Phone Numbers: Collected only for consented SMS; stored encrypted, not sold/shared (except trusted delivery providers like ClickSend, under contract). Deleted on opt-out or after 12 months inactivity.
• Your Rights: Reply STOP anytime; request access/deletion via contact below. Do Not Call Registry honored.

We also comply with applicable US carrier messaging policies and regulations for toll-free numbers.

How we use information

We use information to operate the product, communicate with you about your account (including consented SMS), and improve reliability.

Data retention

We retain data only as long as needed to provide the service or meet legal obligations, then delete or anonymize it.

Sharing

We do not sell personal information. We may share data with trusted service providers who help us deliver Spript (bound by confidentiality).

Security

We take reasonable steps to protect information, including access controls, monitoring, and encryption for sensitive data like phone numbers.

Your rights

You can request access, correction, or deletion of your information. Contact us and we will respond within a reasonable timeframe. Complies with Privacy Act 2020.

Terms of Service

By using Spript, you agree to:
